Dr. Prabir Ghosh Dastidar

Notably, he led a pioneering field experiment exploring self-awareness in penguins at the remote Svinner Islands in Antarctica. Working with multinational teams of scientists from leading institutions, his research also examines plastic pollution in polar ecosystems and the neural–behavioural dynamics of penguins, contributing valuable insights to both environmental science and animal cognition.
